Applications of Electric Needle Valve


The needle valve is also known as the plunger valve, and they are the flow controlling valves that are used to control the pressure & flow rate of the fluids inside the pipeline. The function of the Needle Valve:

The needle is connected directly with the stem or plunger. The stem or plunger is further connected to the handle that converts the rotational motion into to & fro motion with the ease of the fine internal thread of the bonnet.

The rotational motion offered to the handle is the fine up & down movement stem takes place and the opening & closing of the orifice. The locking nut is connected with the bonnet’s top to prevent the entire unscrewing of the plunger from the internal thread of the bonnet. When the needle goes down, it comes in contact with the seat of the flow control solenoid valve, and hence it provides a leakage-free closing of the fluid in the pipeline. The bonnet is connected with the housing of the electronic valve via the screw system.

The actuation of the electric needle valve is managed with the rotation of the handle by it could be automatically. The needles of the valve are usually operated with the help of an electric motor. This motor precisely controls the stem position inside the housing of the pneumatic needle valve depending on the external requirements.

Applications of Needle Valve:
