What’s interesting is this ROM is bundled with an amazing custom Kernel which can unleash the power of your device. The kernel can be customised greatly so that your device can be tweaked to great extend.

Sultanxda has been contributing to OnePlus One (bacon) ever since its release and has become one of the top developers in its section. Hence, LineageOS 14.1 for OnePlus One from this developer was a dream for OnePlus One users.

In this tutorial, I will help you install unofficial LineageOS 14.1 on OnePlus One. Make sure your device is rooted prior following this procedure.

ROM features:

How to Install Sultanxda’s LineageOS 14.1 on OnePlus One (bacon)

  1. Download lineage-14.1-20170624-UNOFFICIAL-Sultan-bacon.zip and copy it to the root of your phone’s internal storage.
  2. Now reboot the device into TWRP recovery and perform a full wipe including data, system, dalvik and cache.
  3. Choose the ROM file and swipe right to flash.
  4. Similarly, download respective Google Apps and flash.
  5. Reboot system

In case you get “oppo.verify_trustzone” error, install TWRP recovery 3.0.2-0 and then flash this.
