Stock Recovery Method
- Download the OxygenOS 4.5.11 for OnePlus 5 OTA file (OnePlus5Oxygen_23_OTA_016_all_1710011637_e072.zip) from this link.
- Now move the file to the root of your phone’s internal storage (without extracting).
- Reboot your phone into stock recovery by switching off the device followed by holding Vol –and Power buttons together.
- On the recovery menu, choose the OTA file under Apply Update option and proceed with the installation.
- Once it’s finished, reboot the device to check whether it’s updated to the latest OxygenOS firmware.
Alternatively, you can choose the OTA file through System Updates > Settings Icon > Local Upgrade option as well.
2. ADB Sideloading Method
- Download OxygenOS 4.5.11 OTA firmware for OnePlus 5 from the above link.
- Reboot your phone into stock recovery by switching off the device followed by holding Vol –and Power buttons together.
- Choose “Install from USB” option in the recovery screen, tap OK to confirm. A screen with “You are in sideload mode” will be displayed.
- Connect your device to the computer and execute the following command in the command window:
“adb sideload <filename>”
