We’ve recently come across a tweet about the launch of Micromax Canvas 5 from the unofficial Micromax news source, aka mmx newscaster and the rumored specs and features are quite impressive. Micromax Canvas 5 might be the next flagship phone from the Canvas series and we’re expecting nothing less than a little monster just like Canvas Turbo,of course, even better.
According to the Micromax newscaster, the Canvas 5 will be having a 5″ full HD screen along with CGS technology as we seen in Canvas Turbo. Canvas 5 screen will be having 1920×1080 pixel resolution that is capable to entertain the user in every lucrative way. The phone might be having at least 2 GB RAM along with 16 GB internal memory.
I’m gonna take your breath for a while, listen. The latest Canvas 5 will be running on an octa core MediaTek processor clocked at 2 Ghz. It might get Android 4.3 now with Kitkat update in future. However, I can’t promise you upon this as it just takes the rumor part. We can’t also confirm whether it has got an expandable memory unlike Canvas Turbo.
In order to compete with the market giants, Micromax has also started to develop their own user interface just like TouchWiz or Sense according to the leaked info. If this information is correct, we can witness yet another UI war as ween seen among Samsung and HTC. Canvas 5 will be carrying MT6592 chipset and 3000 mAh battery instead of 2000 or 2500 mAh.
